Trickhouse Live is an integrative arts series that brings together people working with words, images, sounds, videos, and a variety of performances. The series serves as a venue for visiting artists to interact with local artists and for the borders between genres and mediums to be permeable. Trickhouse Live is a physical world extension of the online cross-genre arts journal, Trickhouse.org which is based in Tucson.

Vicki Brown is a violinist whose penchant for a classical/avant/improvisational approach has led to numerous collaborations in the US and Europe with musicians and bands, dancers, painters, writers, actors and film makers. She is excited to be a part of this Trickhouse event and to work with such uber-talented friends who are co-trailblazers. For sound nibblets, visit

Jillian Courtney is an actor, theatre artist and teacher. She has a BFA from Boston University in Theatre Arts and is dedicated to the act of creation. Jillian is excited for this collaboration and honored to be working with TC Tolbert, Vicki Brown, John Melillo, Noah Saterstrom and Casa Libre, all associations from which she has been blessed to benefit as an artist and a person.
John Melillo is Algae & Tentacles is the work of John Melillo. He combines rhythm, noise, and voice in a variety of forms. Often, Algae &Tentacles is a multiplicity of different collaborators,
including Steve Formel, Nate Affield, Akil Wilson, Daniele Yandel, Lydia Fong, Hannah Ensor, and more.
